Michael Kneip is co-founder of early-stage Internet business The Virtual Commons (1995), and founder and President of TVC Consulting, Inc (1996-present). Kneip grew up in Sitka, Alaska, moving to Kalispell, Montana for his final three years of high school at Flathead High School. Kneip earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington in 1991, followed by a year of Japanese study in Tokyo Japan. Returning to the US, Kneip was a key early employee at both Hewitt Rand and CompuData Systems before starting his own companies. Kneip started TVC Consulting, an early leader in the Microsoft Certified Solutions Provider (MCSP) program, and Northwest pioneer in several key Microsoft platforms, including server and infrastructure, development, and business systems. As President of TVC Consulting, Kneip delivers extensive, hands-on expertise, and a record of business leadership and success.
